Telesphore Duplessis

Telesphore Joseph Duplessis, of Baie-Sainte-Anne, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 98.

 

Born in Chatham, he was the son of the late George and Isabelle (Martin) Duplessis. 

 

He will be greatly missed by his daughter Carmeline Thompson (Brad) of Napan; son Joseph Duplessis of Miramichi; brothers Elias Duplessis of Bouctouche, Edmond Duplessis of Moncton, and Jerry Duplessis of Baie Ste Anne ; sisters Isabelle Allain (Jean) of Bouctouche Bay, Georgina Lirette of Moncton, Grace Tardif (Pierre) of Moncton, and Margie (Mike Freeborn) of Riverview; grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

 

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Jeannine (Arseneau) Duplessis; daughter Theresa Duplessis; and siblings Aubé, Roger, Jack, Marc, Arthur, RoseAnne, and Melvin.

 

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will take place at a later date.

 

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one's choice.
