It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Theresa Clair Regan wife of the late Bennedict (Bennie) Regan of Miramichi, NB, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Tuesday, November 24, 2023, at the age of 97.
Born in Barnaby River, Theresa was the daughter of the late Patrick and Clara (Murphy) Gill. Theresa was a homemaker and was very dedicated to her church. She was a member of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church CWL.
Theresa deeply loved her family. She always enjoyed having visitors and found joy in a good laugh. She was a person of strong faith and believed in the power of prayers. She would be found saying her rosary for many special intentions. Prior to 2020 Theresa spend many weekends enjoying senior’s dances throughout the Miramichi with her girlfriends.
Theresa will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her daughter Rose Mary (Terry) Doyle of Miramichi, her sons Richard (Janice) of Wetaskiwin AB, Ralph (Roxanne)of Miramichi, Robert (Sue) of Miramichi, 17 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren, daughter-in-law Linda Regan, sons-in-laws Arthur Losier and John Bosma, two sisters Carmel (late Ray) English and Joan (late Gerald) Silliker, sisters-in-laws Barb Regan (late Andrew), Alice (Nathan) Loubert; brother-in-law Reggie (Mona).
Besides her parents and husband, Theresa was predeceased by her daughters Paula Bosma and Carmelita (Carmie) Losier, son Terrance Regan, brothers Gerald (Mary) Gill, Clement (Helen) Gill, Donnie (Carmel) Gill, Joseph (Joe) Gill and Pat (Ann) Gill, sisters Mary (Bennie) Mahoney, Ursula (Cyril) Regan, Patricia (Vince) Hackett, a special uncle Richard (Stella) Gill, sisters-in-laws Mary Soucie-Matheson (Bob) and Rose Marie Burns (Bill), and brother-in-law Harry Grattan Jr.
The family will receive visitors at Northumberland Funeral Home Monday, November 27 from 2-4 and 6- 8. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, November 28 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Anthony Dass Papu officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers her wishes are to have donations to the local food bank or charity of ones choice.
The family is deeply grateful for the exceptional care provided by the nurses, doctors, and staff of the Emergency Department at the Miramichi Hospital. Their dedication and compassion during this challenging time are sincerely appreciated.
