Mrs. Theresa (Sheehan) Duffy, wife of the late William Duffy, of Miramichi, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2012, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 73.

Born on February 3, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Harold and Minnie Sheehan.

She will be sadly missed by her two daughters Margie Lawlor (Jimmy) of Red Bank, and Natalie Duffy (Peter Cook) of Taintville; three sons Brent, Billy (Joan), and Mark, all of Calgary, AB; two sisters Kay (Arnold) and Mary; five grandchildren Chelsie, Jimmy, Ryan, Billy, and Raymond; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband William, her son Gary, her brothers Harold (Bun), Bert, Charles, Kenny, and Arthur, and her sisters Stella, Lillian, and Ella.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home on Monday, December 31, 2012, from 12 pm to 2 pm. The funeral service will follow the visitation, at 2 pm, from Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Tom Ettinger officiating.

As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the New Brunswick Lung Association, or to a memorial of one's choice.
