Vaughn Paul McAllister, of Miramichi, passed away peacefully at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at the age of 64, surrounded by his loving wife Nancy and his beloved sons Cory and Devin.

Born in Miramichi, he was the son of the late Flemming and Veronica (McLean) McAllister.

He was adored and will be greatly missed by his loving wife Nancy (Arseneault) McAllister of Miramichi; two beloved sons Cory McAllister (Bobbie-Jo) of Miramichi and Devin McAllister (Suzanne) of Cornwall, ON; two sisters Veronica-Jean Blair (Jack) of Winnipeg, and Joanne White (Keith) of Summerville; six brothers Donald McAllister (Ardie), Bernard McAllister (Amy), Allan McAllister all of Miramichi, Sterling McAllister and Joe McAllister (Marg) both of Ontario, and Gerald McAllister of Port Elgin; four grandchildren who were his pride and joy Drake, Kai, Ally, and Dax; three brothers-in-law Dan Arseneault (Margaret) of Miramichi, Eddie Arseneault (Wanda) of Miramichi, and Michael Arseneault (Sherry) of Ontario; sister-in-law Peggy Kennedy of Alberta; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Vaughn was predeceased by seven sisters Patricia, Beverly, Denise, Eleanor, Linda, Marlene and Agnes; brother Jack; and his parents-in-law Neil and Pat Arseneault.

Vaughn was employed by the city of Miramichi until his retirement. He was a proud member of AA Miramichi for 41 years. He was always there to lend a listening ear and to help whenever he could.

At the family's request, there will be no visitation. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 2 pm, from Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel.
