Veronica Evangeline (Bradford) Comeau, of Miramichi, passed away peacefully at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on October 8, 2022, at the age of 80.

Born in Millbank, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Josephine (Stewart) Bradford. She was a homemaker and a member of St Michael’s Basilica. She was also a member of the Legion and an avid bingo player known to her grandchildren and great grandchildren as “Bingo Nan”.

She will be greatly missed by her six daughters Mary Lou Comeau (Reggie Gillis), Judy Comeau (Lawrence Bransfield), Linda Kent (Jimmy Lewis), Barbie Morris (Roy), Nancy Comeau (Stevie Malley), and Angela Newman (Shannon) all of Miramichi; three sons Paul Comeau (Malida) of Grand Prairie, AB, Donnie Comeau (France) of Miramichi, and Darren Comeau (Florence Richardson) of Miramichi; sister Pearl Clark of Miramichi; brother Ronald Bradford (Debbie) of P.E.I.; 16 grandchildren Ricky (Erica), Rodney, Jennifer (Mike), Jocelyn (Brian), Shane (Olivia), Shawn (Lacy), Jade (Karie), James, Crystal (Chris), Stephen (Lauren), Jessica, Corey (Sharmon), Jeremy, Cloe (Daniel), Jonathan (Jocelyn), and Santana (Helly Anne); great grandchildren Wyatt, Riley, Reese, Melissa, T.C., Mikayla, Haylee, Keegan, Jase, Chase, Aiden, Tanner, Lexy, Kailey, Avery, Reid, Leah, Jace, Hayden, Georgia, Joseph, Fiona, Aubree, Parker, Adelyn, Braydie, Paisley, and Winter; special niece Terr Totten of Saint John; and her three closest friends Caroline, Albena, and Loulou.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Roger Comeau; grandson Randy Chapman; two brothers; and seven sisters.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at 11 am, with Father Antonio Reyes officiating.
