Walter Arthur MacRae, of Blackville, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2011,at the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home, at the age of 98.

Arthur was the last surviving member of his immediate family, and is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Has predeceaed by his wife Margery (Beaton) MacRae, his parents Arthur and Annie (MacLaggan) MacRae, two brothers, and two sisters.

The family will receive relatives and friends from St Andrew's United Church Hall, in Blackville, on Sunday, October 30, 2011, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 31, 2011, at 2 pm, from St Andrew's United Church, with Dean Lawrence officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
