Warren Winslow Sturgeon, of White Rapids, passed away at Mount St Joseph Nursing Home,on Saturday, May 4, 2013, at the age of 92.
Born in White Rapids, he was the son of the late Malcolm and Alexina (Underhill) Sturgeon. He worked at the Ammunition Depot and was a member of St Agnes Anglican Church, in Gray Rapids.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Janet (MacDonald) of White Rapids; daughter Lois (Alvin Stewart) of Blackville; three sons Franklin (Joanne) of White Rapids, Ronald (Margaret) of Blackville, and Blaine (Rhonda) of White Rapids; two brothers Cameron (Gloria), and Arden (June) both of White Rapids; son-in-law Blair Gillespie; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter Patricia Gillespie, infant son Warren Elridge, sisters Olga and Jean, and brother Kenneth.
The family will receive relatives and friends from Holy Trinity Anglican Church Slumber Room, in Blackville, on Sunday, May 5, 2013, from 7 to 9 pm, and on Monday, May 6, 2013, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from Holy Trinity Anglican Church, on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at 11 am, with Father Laskey officiating. Interment will take place in St Agnes Anglican Church Cemetery, in Gray Rapids.
As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Mount Saint Joseph Nursing Home, or to a memorial of one's choice.
