Wilbourne (Bud) McDonald, of Boom Road, passed away at his residence, on August 17th, 2022, at the age of 74.
Born in Nelson, he was the son of the late Wilbourne McDonald and Mary (Goodin) McDonald. He worked as a self employed mechanic and former owner of Trash Away.
He will be greatly missed by his partner Cindy Matchett, one son Tony McDonald of Nelson, two step daughters; Laura-Lee Thurston and Melanie Thurston (Nevin) both of Miramichi, one step son, Terrance Thurston(Farren) of Miramichi, four sisters; Ann McCullam, Carmel Lee, both of Nelson, Betty Ann McCluskey, Lynda Comfort both of Miramichi, one step sister, Francine Easton of Saint John, one brother; Jack (Maria) McDonald and one step brother; Ricky McDonald of Saint John, 11 grandchildren as well as great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by his son; George McDonald and his sister; Joan Hachey.
The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home on Sunday August 21st from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm. At Bud’s request there will be no funeral service.
