William Allen Allison, of Trout Brook, slipped peacefully into the arms of Our Lord at Percy's Place on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at the age of 86.
Born in Trout Brook, he was the son of the late Allen and Elizabeth (Dunnett) Allison. He was a truck driver, prior to his retirement, and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Grace (Mullin) Allison of Trout Brook; children Lynn Dignam (Wayne) of Miramichi and Larry Allison (Rhonda) of Miramichi; three sisters Sarah Silliker (Late Harold) of Miramichi, Andrea Waye (Late Edward) of Trout Brook, and Elsie Baisley (Late Holly) of Miramichi; brother Stephen Allison (Dana) of Trout Brook; four grandchildren Joey, Evan, Brady, and Tanner; four great grandchildren Rowan, Phoebe, Ellie, and Charlotte; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Wendell and Hershell; and sisters Ruth and Phyllis.
The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 2 pm, from Calvary Baptist Church, with Rev. Matthew Porter officiating. Interment will take place in Miramichi Cemetery following the service.
