William (Bill) Taylor, formerly of Chatham, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2011, at the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home, at the age of 76.
Born in Chatham, he was the son of the late Arthur Edgar and Ethel Mae (MacDonald) Taylor and worked as a nurse before his retirement.
He will be sadly missed by his four daughters Teena (Carl MacDonald) of Miramichi, Judy Lee (Don Bowman) of Loggieville, Sherie (Stephen Cowan) of Chatham, an Karen (Clayton Morris) of Black River; two sons Rodney of Woodstock, Ontario, and Ryan of Fredericton; three sisters Verona (Earl Lloyd) of Miramichi, Darlene (Edward O`Riely) of Sackville, and Anne Taylor of Edmonton, Alberta; one brother Claude Blaine (Bud) of Winnipeg; 10 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Joan Taylor and daughter Lisa.
The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 12, 2011, from 4 to 6 pm.
A memorial service will take place at the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home, or to a memorial of one's choice.
