William “Billy” Frederick McInnis of Saint John, New Brunswick, passed away on Wednesday July 10th, 2019, at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
At age 60 he lost his short battle with cancer.
Born in Newcastle, he was the son of the late Edward and May (McLean) McInnis.
He was raised in the community of McKinleyville and graduated from James M Hill Memorial High School.
Work opportunities lead him to Saint John where he made a home.
Over the years he continued making trips “up home” to visit his family and friends.
He was a member of Local 900.
Billy loved his Montreal Canadiens hockey and was a NASCAR Jimmy Johnson fan.
He will be greatly missed by his two sons, Tim (fiancé Kera Snider) of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta and Jared Cobham of Saint John, New Brunswick, granddaughter Taeya McInnis and grandson Trae Snider of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta.
He will also be missed by his two sisters; Marie Tucker of Quarryville, New Brunswick, and Wanda Kilpatrick (Steven) of Saint John, New Brunswick, and his brother; Eddie (Yvonne) of Saint John, New Brunswick, and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by; his sister Jacqueline Vickers, brothers Laurie McInnis and James “Jimmy” McInnis , infant brother Frankie McInnis, infant sister Debbie McInnis, brothers-in law Gerald Tucker and Dale Vickers, niece Wendy Tucker and nephew Terence Vickers.
At the family's request, there will be no visitation.
A Graveside Service will be held at the McKinleyville ChurchCemetery, Route 118, McKinleyville, New Brunswick on Sunday July 21st, 2019, at 2:00 pm.
