Yvon Joseph Breau

Yvon Joseph Breau, of Bartibog, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 61.

Born in Chatham, NB, he was the son of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (LeBlanc) Breau. He worked as a painter for almost 40 years and enjoyed keeping busy around the yard, cooking, and spending time with his family and friends.

He will be greatly missed by his wife Colleen (Maher) Breau of Bartibog; daughter Cara Breau (John) of Saint John; son Matthew Breau of Miramichi; eight brothers Leonard (Marion) of Miramichi, Onesime (Cindy) of Miramichi, Livain (Sharon) of Miramichi, Reginald (Shirley) of Miramichi, Lionel (Carolyn) of Calgary, AB, Tom (Dawn) of Miramichi, Roger (Murielle) of Miramichi, and Robert of Bonnieville, AB; grandchildren Abigail, Lana, and Jacob; brother-in-law John (Linda) Maher of Fredericton; several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one's choice.
