Zoe-Jane Cole passed away peacefully on December 19, 2024, at Percy's Place, just shy of her 58th birthday.
Born on December 21, 1966, in Curve Lake, Ontario, Zoe-Jane was known for her bubbly personality and always staying true to her Native heritage.
For the past four years, Zoe-Jane dedicated herself to her role at Joe's Kwik Way in Eel Ground, where her work ethic and helping nature were exemplary. Colleagues and customers alike appreciated her outgoing spirit and willingness to lend a hand, as she was always wanting to help others.
Zoe-Jane is survived by her loving spouse, David Gillis of Napan; her children Stephanie, Sabrina, and Devon; David's children David Jr., and Tharrie Harris, and her brother Edward Cole. She was a proud grandmother to Hayden, Michael, Jaguar, Jason, and great-grandmother to Austin.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Christine, and father, Ernest Ruche.
Zoe-Jane's legacy will live on through the love and memories shared with her family and friends, who will forever remember her as a vibrant and caring individual who brought light into their lives.
The family would like to thank the staff at Percy's Place for the compassionate and excellent care given to Zoe, and a special thank you to Andrea Paul-McCoy, who went above and beyond for her throughout her illness.
Funeral service will be held at Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel, on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 12 pm, with Pastor Theo Craig officiating.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one's choice.
